Features and Function's Introduction:
This device is a new driving safety monitoring system based on the fifth generation algorithm of fatigue
model. With image recognition analysis, it can monitor driver's behavior and spirit condition all the time
and give alarms or warning to reduce traffic accidents when it detects any misbehaviors during the driving,
such as bow, look around / aside, face missing, smoke, make phone call, yawn and etc.
1. Value of fatigue warning
Fatigue has long been an inevitable problem that is controlled to an extent for drivers, for example,
when driving two hours at a speed of 100km/h, the driver has to struggle to stay awake on account of
his lower levels physiological functions followed by inattention.
In general, accident rates are extremely high when the driver drives more than 6 hours a day or is lack of enough rest, for example, only having a rest of less than four or five hours at night.
A set of terrible statistics has already been reported, indicating that 72% of all accidents occur
due to drivers themselves and 25~30% thereof are caused by fatigue drive;
that 40% of all serious and fatal accidents are fatigue related; that 70% of all drivers will fall asleep at the wheel on the highway.
Therefore, it is a great value to eliminate fatigue at driving for sake of the drivers, families, companies, as well as the society.
Functions instruction
1) Fatigue warning
As driver begin to fall asleep, the warning system will trigger a “wake-up call” in time
and store the image that the driver fall asleep, then controlling other sleepy reminder accessories
(such as vibration cushions, refreshing smell generator) via configurable output interfaces,
and finally can sent fatigue information and images to monitoring center through the 3G network.
Factors such as weather, light, complexion, clothing, have no influence on fatigue warning function, even driver ware glasses.
2) Adaptable adjustment of sensitivity
a) Test Mode
Under test mode, the fixed sensitivity will be 1s.
b) Normal Mode
FT-339A7 can make a comprehensive judgment and adjust the alert frequency of fatigue automatically according to the vehicle speed,
cumulative time,low Lane Keeping Performance (special for LDW Accessory) and driving time etc, and the correction interval is 1s~3s.
Basic logic: when cumulative time is short and the vehicle speed is slow, alert frequency is also low; when cumulative time is longer
and the vehicle speed is quicker, alert frequency will be higher; or if Lane Keeping Performance is low, its alert frequency also will be higher.
3) Driver features self-calibration
Starting FT-339A7, the early warning system enters a period of 30-second self-calibration with the vehicle speed
exceeding the predetermined vehicle speed.
During this period, the system core parameters will be calibrated according to individual characteristics of the driver.
After this process, the system enters a normal operating state. Please keep a normal driving state
when the system is in the normal operating state, and do not simulate sleepy state.
4) Analog image output
FT-339A7 provides real-time analog image output in PAL (Phase Alternating Line) or
NTSC (National Television System Committee) format. The signal can be used to calibrate the orientation of installation,
and can also be integrated with almost all the popular Car DVR (Digital Video Record) on the market to store the recorded videos.
5) RS232 Communication
RS232 serial port offers data transmission means between FT-339A7 and vehicle networking terminator other control equipment,
then FT-339A7 can realize data interaction of vehicle running status and data transmission of alarm information and compressed images
by connecting with matched vehicle networking terminal.
6) Input interface
FT-339A7 supports five-channel I/O signal inputs, including turn signals, brake signal, reverse signal and speed signal.
7) Output interface
FT-339A7 has two-channel switch signal output to control auxiliary equipment such as vibration cushions which start to work when the fatigue drive warning is issued.
FT-339A7 will send out a trigger signal, after the vibration cushion detected the signal, it will produce a strong vibration to remind the driver to pay attention to safety.
8) Camera occlusion& Face missing reminder
Once the camera is deliberately obscured or the driver’s face is moved out thevisual range for a long time,
the system will remind a "ding –ding–ding–" beeping sound with the vehicle speed exceeding the setting vehicle speed (default speed is 15km/h).
9) Warming image can be stored locally
FT-339A7 will create a folder with year.month.day in SD card and store the warming images sorted by type of fatigue warming(asleep, face exception).
The during time can be set by SD card configure and default for 10 days.
10) Driving behavior warning function
FT-339A7, which can be externally connected to a camera accessory special for LDW, is installed below a central rearview mirror
to achieve the following warning functions in regard of various driving behaviors:
a) Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
When the speed exceeds a set limiting value (which defaults to 55km/h) and the vehicle is subjected to lane departure
and line pressing without turning, FT-339A7 will release warning.
b) Low Lane Keeping Performance Alert (LKP)
FT-339A7 can count LKP of the driver for a long time and issue warning when LKP is very poor.
